Complete Leaders Edge Labs kit contents

Facilitator Guide

Full-color, 5–6 pages. Minute-by-minute session flow, discussion guides, troubleshooting tips, and the behavioral science behind every exercise. You'll know exactly what to say and when.

10 Participant Workbooks

Full-color, saddle-stitched, 5–6 pages each. Research summaries, frameworks, writing exercises, scenario response areas, and reflection sections. Participants keep these as reference tools.

Scenario Cards

Full-color, heavy card stock. 8+ unique scenarios per lab calibrated to different difficulty levels. Real workplace dilemmas that create the pressure that builds the skill.

Who Facilitates?

You do. That's the point. The facilitator guide is designed so that any thoughtful people leader — with no formal training background — can run an effective session. Executive coaches and corporate trainers will find the content sophisticated enough to impress their most demanding clients. But you don't need to be one to use it. The facilitator's job is to create the conditions for productive vulnerability — inviting interpersonal risk-taking, modeling openness, and debriefing what happened so the emotional experience converts to lasting skill. When you facilitate, you're not just delivering content. You're activating the psychological mechanisms that make learning stick.

The Science

Every lab is anchored in peer-reviewed research. Our team draws on Kahneman on memory formation, Cialdini on influence, Edmondson on psychological safety, Lencioni on team dysfunction, Tetlock on forecasting, and dozens of others. The science isn't decoration — it's the architecture.

Common Questions

Do I need facilitation experience?
No. The facilitator guide walks you through every minute — what to say, when to transition, how to handle common challenges. Any manager or team lead can facilitate effectively.
Can I run this virtually?
Labs are designed for in-person facilitation, but every kit is also available as a digital download. Digital kits include the same facilitator guide, workbooks, and scenario cards as watermarked PDFs licensed for your team. The scenario cards work best in-person, but core exercises adapt well to video calls with screen sharing.
What if I need more than 10 workbooks?
Additional Workbook Packs (5 extra workbooks) are available for $79. For groups of 20+, we recommend purchasing two full kits.
How long is each session?
Standard sessions run 60–90 minutes. The facilitator guide includes a compressed 60-minute format for teams under time pressure and an extended format for deeper exploration.
Can I reuse the kit?
The facilitator guide and scenario cards are reusable. Participant workbooks are designed for individual use (writing exercises, reflections), so you'll need fresh workbooks for each group. Additional packs are $79 for 5.
Can I preview before buying?
Absolutely. Each lab includes a facilitator guide, participant workbooks, and scenario cards. Browse our catalog to explore what's included in every kit.
