Refund & Return Policy

At Leaders Edge Labs (operated by The Medley Collective LLC), we stand behind the quality of our leadership training kits. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. This policy sets forth the terms under which returns and refunds are processed. This policy is posted in accordance with California Civil Code § 1723.
Physical Kits
30-Day Return Window
You may request a return of any physical Lab kit within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of delivery as confirmed by carrier tracking. To be eligible for a full refund, the following conditions must be met:
- All materials must be in unused, unmarked, original condition — facilitator guides, workbooks, and scenario cards must not be written in, highlighted, folded, or show any signs of use in a facilitation session or otherwise.
- All components of the kit must be included and returned in their original packaging.
- You must initiate the return by contacting us at info@leadersedgelabs.com within the 30-day window. Returns initiated after 30 days from the delivery date will not be accepted.
There are no restocking fees. Eligible returns receive a full refund of the purchase price (excluding original shipping costs for expedited orders, if applicable).
Return shipping: You are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method, as we cannot process refunds for items that are lost or damaged in return transit. Risk of loss for returned items passes to us only upon confirmed receipt at our designated return facility.
Damaged or defective items: If your kit arrives damaged, misprinted, or with material defects, you must contact us within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date. Upon verification (we may request photographs of the damage), we will, at your election, either: (a) send a replacement at no cost to you, including shipping; or (b) issue a full refund, including any original shipping costs. This remedy is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under applicable law.
Missing components: If any components are missing from your kit upon delivery, contact us within seven (7) calendar days and we will ship the missing items to you at no charge.
Digital Kits
Due to the nature of downloadable digital content, all Digital Kit sales are final once the files have been accessed or downloaded. Because digital content can be copied upon access, we are unable to offer refunds on digital products that have been delivered and opened. This is consistent with California’s consumer protection framework for digital goods.
Exceptions to the digital no-refund policy:
- Technical access failure: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing or downloading your digital files, contact us within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase. We will first attempt to resolve the technical issue. If we are unable to provide you with access within a reasonable timeframe, we will issue a full refund.
- Materially non-conforming content: If the digital content is materially different from the description provided on the product page at the time of your purchase, contact us within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase and we will issue a full refund upon verification.
Pre-purchase recommendation: If you are unsure whether a particular Lab is the right fit for your team or organization, we encourage you to contact us at info@leadersedgelabs.com before purchasing. We are happy to discuss the content, intended audience, and facilitation requirements of any Lab to help you make an informed decision.
How to Request a Return or Refund
- Email us at info@leadersedgelabs.com with your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return or refund request.
- We will respond within two (2) business days with return authorization and instructions (for physical kits) or next steps (for digital kit issues).
- For physical returns, ship the kit to the return address we provide. Do not send returns without first receiving return authorization.
- Upon receipt and inspection of the returned physical item, we will process your refund within five to seven (5–7) business days.
Refund Method
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Depending on your financial institution, please allow five to ten (5–10) additional business days after we process the refund for the credit to appear on your account statement. We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method or as store credit unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@leadersedgelabs.com. Orders that have not yet entered the fulfillment process (i.e., have not been sent to our print-on-demand partner for production) may be cancelled for a full refund. Once an order has entered production or been shipped, it is subject to the standard return policy set forth above. Digital Kit orders cannot be cancelled once the download link has been delivered.
